23 May 2005: I haven't had much time in the last couple of weeks to play about with the juke but finally solved the problem on Saturday. I thought I'd better take everything apart so started by removing the turntable and selection assembly, which was more difficult than I imagined as the shaft was very difficult indeed to remove - it seems to be ever so slightly flared at both ends.

24 April 2005: I have now taken apart the big 27 connection Jones plug and socket, and the smaller one that connects the program holder assembly. 22 April 2005: I spent tonight taking the control box apart. I undid all the sockets apart from the carriage motor one as that would need unsoldering, so everything else hung off that. I cleaned the interlock, interlock trip and cancel coils' contacts, and also found two wires that weren't connected up. One was from pin 3 of the carriage motor socket, the other was a resistor from the cancel coil. However there was no sign of the resister on the schematic and the diagram in the parts section didn't contain one. The interlock coils look different in there too.
